The Klundt winery is located near Landau in the Southern Palatinate and cultivates around 21 ha of vineyards on some of the region’s most renowned sites.

For over 30 years, a core philosophy of the winery has been sustainable, environmentally friendly vineyard management. Sven Klundt avoids herbicides and pays particular attention to careful soil cultivation. The winery’s range includes fruity, fresh estate wines, characterful village wines, high-quality single-vineyard wines, fine sparkling wines and: wines with a sea view.

Because »mehr meer«, Sven Klundt’s new wine creation, alludes to the fact that the Southern Palatinate used to be part of an ancient sea. Even today, the landscape bears traces of former coastlines, and in the sediments you can discover fossilized shells or crustaceans. These lime-rich shells form the basis of the soil on which the vines for »mehr meer« grow. They create its unmistakable taste.

A graphic counterpart for this special origin was needed. With a crab as the crustacean, distinctive typography, a maritime color palette, and great attention to detail, green empire designed this label to do justice to this special wine. Embossing also makes the label a tactile experience. Not only visually, »mehr meer« is the perfect complement to seafood, cod, matjes, or salmon.
